  1. 01Anti Blow-Up ToolHelps limit unintended upward movement of a slickline toolstring.

    What it does

An Anti Blow-Up Tool is used in a slickline assembly to help restrain unintended upward movement associated with pressure from below. Its suitability depends on the toolstring and well conditions.

Ask about the Anti Blow-Up Tool
  2. 02Blind BlockImpact tool for addressing downhole obstructions.

    What it does

A Blind Block is a solid tool used to apply impact to downhole obstructions during slickline work. The tool is selected to suit the obstruction and the planned intervention.

    Ask about the Blind Block
  3. 03Centre SpearFishing tool for engaging tangled wire downhole.

    What it does

A Centre Spear is used in wire fishing operations to engage tangled wire for recovery. The fishing approach depends on the condition and position of the wire in the well.

    Ask about the Centre Spear
  4. 04Cross Over SubAdapter joining different toolstring connections.

    What it does

A Cross Over Sub connects toolstring components with different connection arrangements. The required interfaces are agreed for the tools that will be used together.

Ask about the Cross Over Sub
  5. 05Gauge CutterTool for checking tubing clearance and removing light deposits.

    What it does

A Gauge Cutter is run to check tubing clearance ahead of other downhole tools. It can also help scrape wax and light deposits from the tubing wall.

    Ask about the Gauge Cutter
  6. 06Lead Impression BlockImpression tool for investigating downhole obstructions.

    What it does

A Lead Impression Block records an impression of the top of a downhole obstruction. The recovered impression helps the operator assess the obstruction before selecting a fishing approach.

Ask about the Lead Impression Block
  7. 07Roller StemWeight bar with rolling contact to help reduce toolstring drag.

    What it does

A Roller Stem adds weight to the toolstring while rollers help reduce sliding friction against the tubing. It is used where toolstring movement is affected by well deviation or drag.

    Ask about the Roller Stem
  8. 08Sand Pump BailerBailer for collecting sand and loose debris from tubing.

    What it does

A Sand Pump Bailer uses a pumping action to draw sand and loose debris into a collection barrel. It supports tubing cleanout before further downhole work.

Ask about the Sand Pump Bailer
  9. 09Shear Type Releasable Rope SocketRope socket with a planned release function for the toolstring.

    What it does

A Shear Type Releasable Rope Socket connects the wire to the toolstring and provides a release function for planned recovery operations. The release arrangement must be agreed for the intended assembly and operation.

Ask about the Shear Type Releasable Rope Socket
  10. 10Shock AbsorberTool that helps reduce impact transmitted to downhole instruments.

    What it does

A Shock Absorber cushions impacts transmitted through the toolstring. It is used to help protect sensitive downhole instruments during intervention work.

    Ask about the Shock Absorber
  11. 11Slickline Well Roller BoogieRolling support to help reduce drag in deviated wells.

    What it does

A Slickline Well Roller Boogie provides rolling contact between the toolstring and tubing. It helps support toolstring movement where well deviation increases drag.

Ask about the Slickline Well Roller Boogie
  12. 12Stem / Weight BarWeight bar providing toolstring ballast and jarring momentum.

    What it does

A Stem or Weight Bar adds mass to a slickline toolstring to assist its descent and provide momentum for jarring operations. The required weight depends on the assembly and well conditions.

Ask about the Stem / Weight Bar
  13. 13Swivel JointRotating joint that helps limit torque transfer to the wire.

    What it does

A Swivel Joint allows relative rotation within the toolstring. It helps reduce the transfer of rotational movement from downhole tools to the wire.

    Ask about the Swivel Joint
  14. 14Tubing BroachTool for working through deposits and tubing restrictions.

    What it does

A Tubing Broach is used to work through deposits or restrictions inside tubing. The tool profile is selected according to the restriction and the planned intervention.

    Ask about the Tubing Broach
  15. 15Tubing SwedgeForming tool for addressing localized tubing deformation.

    What it does

A Tubing Swedge is used to help restore a passable internal profile where tubing has localized deformation. Suitability depends on the condition of the tubing and the intervention plan.

    Ask about the Tubing Swedge
  16. 16Wire FinderTool for preparing a loose wire end for fishing.

    What it does

A Wire Finder is used to locate and prepare the upper end of loose wire downhole so that a fishing tool can engage it. It supports the preparation stage of wire recovery operations.

    Ask about the Wire Finder
